Blackburn Rovers defender Lewis Miller is making significant strides in his recovery from a torn Achilles, setting an ambitious target for his return to action. Five months post-operation, Miller reflects on the challenges he faced after suffering the injury during a match against Queens Park Rangers in February. He acknowledges that recovering from such an injury is often considered one of the toughest hurdles for athletes, both physically and mentally. Miller shared with RoversTV that while the recovery process has been slow and repetitive, he is pleased with the progress he has made so far. He stated, "I'm five months down now... I can see the progress, which is what I wanted to see at this mark." Despite the arduous journey, Miller remains optimistic and is determined to return stronger than ever. He emphasized the importance of patience, saying, "I'm not in a rush whatsoever. I just want to get this 120%." The defender also expressed his disappointment at missing the World Cup, where he would have been Blackburn Rovers' sole representative, but remains hopeful for his team's success in the tournament. As he continues his rehabilitation, Miller is focused on improving his game and looks forward to rejoining his teammates on the pitch soon.
