Blackburn Rovers have revealed a number of changes to their squad numbers for the 2026/27 season. With the first competitive match of the campaign fast approaching, Rovers have confirmed what digits each player will be wearing. There are a number of alterations to the existing squad. Tom Atcheson has upgraded his number 38 for number six, left vacant by Sondre Tronstad. Andri Gudjohnsen has done similar, taking the number nine shirt, last worn by Makhtar Gueye. New signing Jayden Fevier has therefore selected 11, which Gudjohnsen wore in his debut campaign. Two of the more peculiar changes has seen Sidnei Tavares swap number eight for five, leaving his old number vacant. Lewis Miller has also exchanged number 12 for 33. Academy talent Frank Vare has also been given number 53 with all other senior players remaining the same.
