Blackburn Rovers have 26 senior players on their books with three weeks left in the transfer window. The Championship side, who finished 20th last season with 52 points, are shaping their squad ahead of the new campaign.

The club has 26 players who would need to be registered for Championship action. This includes recent signings and players returning from injury. Lewis Miller remains sidelined with a long-term injury and is unlikely to return until around Christmas.

Jake Garrett is back in contention after his previous campaign, while Kristi Montgomery has now passed the Under-21 threshold. Players born on or after January 1, 2005, such as Matty Litherland and Tom Atcheson, do not need to be named in the squad.

With the window closing on September 1, Blackburn Rovers have time to make further additions. However, any new signings would require someone aside from Miller to be unregistered.

Rovers' senior squad: Toth, Pears; Alebiosu, Miller, Carter, Wharton, McLoughlin, Pratt, Pickering, Ribeiro; Tavares, Baradji, Garrett, Morsy, Forshaw, Montgomery, Cantwell, Henriksson; Kargbo, Afolayan, De Neve, Morishita, Fevrier; Jorgensen, Gudjohnsen, Ohashi.
